Boating Safety Courses

Boater U specializes in boating safety courses to keep you safe and confident while having fun on the water.

Located in San Diego, our in the classroom boater safety course provide you with practical boating knowledge from seamanship to boat maintenance and troubleshooting. Upon completion of our Boater 100 or Boater 101 power boating safety course you will also receive you California Boating License.

Boater U's on the water power boat training course give you the hands on experience to become a proficient power boater. You will learn to dock confidently, on the water power boat handling in high winds and waves and much more.

For those more experienced boaters our boat maintenance and troubleshooting courses will help you safely troubleshoot and repair issues while out on the water, as well as, learn to maintain the boats engines and systems to prevent or minimize potential boating breakdowns.
