David Sadler is TRLMI’s COO. His experience includes leadership roles across commercial and defense sectors, in both large and small organizations.
Mr. Sadler served in the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare officer with tours in USS BARBEY (FF 1088) and USS ELLIOT (DD 967). After his naval service, Mr. Sadler entered the commercial sector via IBM’s Supply Chain Leadership Program (SCLP), consisting of domestic and international roles in sourcing, logistics, contract manufacturing, and strategy & policy. After completion of the SCLP, Mr. Sadler was named to IBM’s executive resource list. He was a consultant with IBM Global Services’ Sourcing & Procurement Solutions group for outsourcing best practices.
From IBM, Mr. Sadler joined Diligent Software Systems as Client & Partner Development Executive responsible for pre-sales support and post sales software implementation at Verizon, Sprint, J.P. Morgan Chase, and The Walt Disney Company. After Diligent Software, he joined Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company as Strategic Sourcing Manager responsible for negotiating and implementing major IT outsourcing agreements.
At Science Applications International Corporation, he was the Director of Corporate Procurement, responsible for company wide purchasing activities. As Director, IT Contracts for Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., he was responsible for managing all vendor relationships for the Office of the CIO.
He was General Manager for R3 Strategic Support Group, a SDVOSB, where he established and managed company operations to include program management for government customers. Most recently, he was Vice President of Operations at Cardinal Point Captains, responsible for defense sector programs along with internal business operations.
A 1989 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, David was selected as a Cox Scholar and studied in France before his commissioning in the naval service. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
