ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT (CLASSROOM)
This enrollment agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding instrument between you (“Student”) and Training Resources Limited, Inc. (“TRLMI”). By registering for a course at TRLMI, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. Upon request, you will be provided a copy of this Agreement.
PREREQUISITES
Many courses that TRLMI offers have prerequisites that must be met to receive the credential or endorsement you are seeking. You agree that you understand and meet (or will meet) the prerequisites at the time you start the course.
ATTENDANCE
Courses approved by the United States Guard and other government organizations require 100% attendance. You agree that you have arranged your personal and professional schedule to meet this requirement.
REGISTRATION AND REFUNDS
At the time of course registration (“Registration Date”), a non-refundable $100 fee (“Registration Fee”) is payable to reserve your seat in a class. The Registration Fee is applied towards the full cost of the course (“Course Cost”) and, if applicable, towards the cost of any course materials mailed to you, plus postage.
If you cancel your course registration, the Registration Fee may be applied towards registration in a different course (or re-registration in the same course) within one (1) year of the Registration Date. If a portion of the Registration Fee was used to mail you course materials, only the remaining balance (Registration Fee less the course materials and postage) may be applied towards registration in another course.
If you cancel your registration after paying the Course Cost, you may request a refund of the Course Cost less the balance of your Registration Fee. To be eligible for a refund, you must send an email to info@TRLMI.com no later than one (1) week prior to the first (1st) day of instruction notifying us of the cancellation.
If you elect to withdraw from a course after instruction has started but before 50% or more of the instruction hours of the course have been taught, you may request a pro-rated refund. The pro-rated refund is determined by taking the Course Cost, less Registration Fee, multiplied by the percentage of total hours of instruction remaining at the time you notify us.
DISPUTED CHARGES
If TRLMI charges your credit card for either the Registration Fee or Course Cost and you subsequently dispute the charge without notifying us in advance of the dispute, there will be an additional $50 administrative fee payable.
STUDENT CONDUCT
The following conduct is not permitted while at TRLMI facilities. Their violation is grounds for immediate removal without refund of any kind.
- Possession of alcohol, controlled substances (without doctor’s prescription), or weapons of any kind.
- Attending classes while (a) under the influence of alcohol or (b) under the influence of any controlled substances which may impact the student's cognitive ability or otherwise pose safety concerns. This includes being under the influence of medical marijuana.
- Removal of school materials from school premises.
- Fighting with or harassing any student or TRLMI employee.
COPYRIGHTS
While taking a TRLMI course, you may be provided instructional material authored or copyrighted by TRLMI or others. You may not reproduce such material without written permission of the author.
